Tanzania Peaberry is Back!

That's right, one of our favorite coffees is back, and hopefully, its here to stay!  Tanzania Peaberry is now available by the bag in each of our seven Louisville locations and in our webstore also!
 
What does it taste like?  This coffee is delicate and mild with a very low acidity.  Its very smooth, slightly nutty and has a medium body.  For those of you who have never tried Tanzania Peaberry, we're certain that you are going to fall in love with it!

So, what is a peaberry?  That's a great question!  Normally a coffee cherry produces two beans which face one another- flat sides together- inside the cherry.  This can be likened to a single peanut with its two separable halves.  A peaberry occurs when the coffee cherry only produces one bean.  This bean becomes rounded and roasts more evenly than the typical coffee beans.  Ocassionally, you will see peaberries in some of our coffees- the Ethiopia Sidamo, for instance- but more often than not, the peaberries are separated and sold by themselves.
