You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone who doesn’t love Tyler.  Outgoing and fun, Tyler is friends with everyone. It’s hard not to get drawn into a conversation with him!

Georgia, now the manager at Vint Coffee, loves working with him because, “It’s always a blast! Not only is he great at his job, but he’s constantly cracking up his coworkers. He’s an amazing latte artist, but he’s also accomplished at stage lighting. He even worked with Actors Theater over the summer!”

How long have you been working at HB?

I’ve been working here for almost two years!

Native or Transplant

Native! I’ve been living in Jeffersonville, Indiana since I was a kid.

When you’re not working at Heine Brothers’, where are you most likely to be spotted?

Definitely on U of L campus! I’m currently a Junior Technical Theatre Major focusing on Lighting Design and Stage Management.

You worked at Actors Theater this past summer – tell us a little bit about that experience. What were you doing for them?

I was shadowing at Actors Theatre as part of a Independent Study where I shadowed the Lighting/Electrical Department. I was there for a few months mostly working on the lighting for the Humana Festival Productions.

How did you get started in the theater, and what do you see yourself doing in the future?

I started out as an Actor and have been in a few shows. The most notable character I played was Ponyboy in ‘The Outsiders’. I began Theatre when I was a Sophomore in High School and haven’t stopped since! I am pursuing Technical Theatre as a career!

If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would love to visit Sweden or Japan at some point!

You pour some really amazing latte art – what the hardest or your favorite thing you’ve ever poured?

Okay, so I know it sounds weird but it was an inverted swan. It looked like it was sitting in water. It took me wayyyy too many try’s and I didn’t get any good pictures but that is definitely the most difficult pour I’ve done.

If you could choose a famous person (past or present) to be besties with, who would it be?

Either Donald Glover or Lin Manuel Miranda.

Favorite HB drink & why?

The Beesting for sure!! I’ve always loved the Miel and adding cayenne just made it better!
